Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, Neon Phoenix is 100% offline. No connection needed to play. Game Center (leaderboards) requires a connection only when syncing scores, but the game works perfectly without it.
On the title screen, tap the settings icon (⚙). Under "Controls" enable "Gyroscope". When you start a run, the ship auto-calibrates to your iPhone's initial position. Tilting the device moves the ship left/right within a ±45° range.
Scores are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. Deleting the app removes that data. Scores published to Game Center remain on Apple's servers. There is no proprietary cloud backup — keeping your data on-device is a feature, not a bug.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and select "Request a Refund" next to the Neon Phoenix purchase.
Yes. Neon Phoenix integrates Game Center with leaderboards per difficulty (CADET, PILOT, ACE, PHOENIX). You need Game Center enabled in System Settings to participate. It is completely optional — the game works exactly the same without it.
On your iPhone or iPad: long-press the Neon Phoenix icon on the Home Screen → "Remove App" → "Delete App". This removes the app and all local data. Your purchase stays on your Apple ID and you can reinstall for free at any time from the App Store.
Under 50 MB install size. All gameplay art and music are generated procedurally at runtime — no sprite sheets or audio tracks to download.
First: make sure you have the latest version from the App Store. If the issue persists, email us at support@trimonkey.es with your iPhone/iPad model and iOS version. Crash logs reach our monitoring system automatically, so if it's a widespread bug we're likely already aware.
