One-sentence summary: Neon Phoenix does not track you, has no ads, and does not send your data to any server.
Your scores, settings and progress are stored only on your device using standard iOS preferences. Nothing leaves your iPhone or iPad without your explicit consent (Game Center is optional and managed by Apple).

2. Data We Collect
The app declares the following data types in its Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), as required by Apple:
| Data Type | Linked to You | Tracking | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gameplay Content Scores, selected difficulty, unlocked ships |
Yes (local) | No | App functionality — saving your progress and records |
| Crash Data Anonymous error reports |
No | No | Detecting and fixing errors that prevent normal operation |
| Performance Data Anonymous performance metrics (fps, memory) |
No | No | Technical performance analytics (aggregated, no PII) |
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email, address or any personally identifying data
- Geographic location
- Camera, microphone or photos
- Contacts or calendar
- Financial or payment data (purchases are handled by Apple)
- Browsing history or use of other apps
- Device identifiers for advertising (IDFA)
- Audio, transcripts or any voice content
4. Required Reason APIs
Apple requires declaring why certain system APIs are used. Neon Phoenix uses:
UserDefaults (NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults)
Reason: CA92.1 — accessing the app's own preferences.
Specific use: storing high scores, difficulty settings, selected ship, accessibility options (gyroscope, auto-fire, bloom) and ship unlock state.
All data is read and written locally only. Never synced to proprietary servers.
System Boot Time (NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategorySystemBootTime)
Reason: 35F9.1 — measuring time intervals on the device.
Specific use: calculating survival time per run and the combo multiplier decay window (2.8 s). Never sent to any server.
5. Third-Party Services
Apple Game Center (optional)
If you enable Game Center, Apple manages your leaderboard data under their own privacy policy. Neon Phoenix has no access to your Apple ID name or Game Center data beyond submitting your score. Game Center is entirely optional — the game works without it.
Sentry (crash reporting)
Neon Phoenix may send anonymous error reports to Sentry. These reports contain technical stack traces, iOS version and device model (no unique identifier). They contain no gameplay data or personal information.
TelemetryDeck (performance analytics)
We use TelemetryDeck for aggregated technical metrics (average fps, crashes by version). TelemetryDeck is privacy-first by design: no cookies, no individual user tracking, GDPR-compliant without a consent banner.
6. No Advertising Tracking
NSPrivacyTracking: false — Neon Phoenix performs no tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
We do not request ATT permission. We do not use IDFA. There are no advertising SDKs.
7. International Transfers
Sentry crash reports and TelemetryDeck metrics may be processed on servers within the EU or US. Both providers have adequate transfer mechanisms (SCCs / DPA) under GDPR. Purchases are managed by Apple Inc. (Ireland).
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
As a user in the European Union you have the right to:
- Access: know what data we hold about you
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: request deletion
- Portability: receive your data in a readable format
- Objection: object to certain processing activities
Since we do not collect directly identifiable personal data, most requests are resolved by deleting the app from your device (which removes all UserDefaults data). For queries about Sentry or TelemetryDeck data, write to privacy@trimonkey.es.
You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Spain: AEPD.
9. Children
Neon Phoenix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at privacy@trimonkey.es.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you through an app update or on this page. The last-updated date appears in the header above.
